Despite the outward appearance, Eucliddis people are not humans. They resemble Nordics, sharing similar physical features such as fair hair and complexions and light colored eyes. They stand taller than average, the average height for a female is around 177 centimeters while males are on average 204 centimeters tall. What makes the Eucliddis unique is its ability to regulate their body temperature drastically. The resting temperature is -20 degrees Celsius, or 14 degrees Fahrenheit, making them fairly cold to the touch. The lowest temperature ever recorded was ~-24 degrees Celsius, or -12 degrees Fahrenheit. The highest ever recorded was ~93 degrees Celcius or 200 degrees Fahrenheit. While this is their main defining feature, it does not serve a particular purpose.
The Eucliddis people reside on their home planet, Euclid-49E, and typically do not leave. Though due to intergalactic transportation being at its highest, they are beginning to explore the vastness of the cosmos. Encountering one of these people outside of their realm is rare, but not so rare that the chances are near to nothing. Identifying someone as Eucliddis does not usually happen instantly, and can be determined by determining body temperature.
Mikkei was branded as a *Slauh when she was born. Her family consisted of twelve children, each having the same father with three wives. The four oldest had the same mother. The next five had a different mother, and the youngest three had a different mother. Mikkei was the third child born to her father's second wife.
Her upbringing was not very loving and resided in a slum, as her family was poor and under the same scrutiny as many other peasants were. The overpopulation of her city tended to push the hardest working people all the way to the bottom of the ranks. She grew up working many dangerous jobs as an expendable. These jobs mostly consisted of the repairs of factory machinery. She would often have to crawl through small spaces and risk getting crushed to death in the process.
At the age of fifteen, she jumped at the opportunity to get out of her otherwise worthless life. She boarded a shuttle with nothing but the clothes on her back and hid in a luggage compartment. She ended up on the other side of the country. Karma was not on her side, however, when she was unable to find work and lived off of what she could. She was now homeless and had to find a way to make a living.
Mekkei went on to take up job postings for various underground companies, which were rather risky and not exactly legal. One of these jobs would take her life in a completely new direction.
When she was seventeen, she took up a job as a courier for a network of crime companies. Though at the time, she was unaware that what she was doing would lead to the downfall of one of the major heads of government. This job carried her to other worlds, quite literally. There were people who tried to kill her, and there were people who helped her make it to each of her destinations, carrying messages for those awaiting them. For a couple of years, she continued carrying messages in secrecy. She was taught defense, and she came to learn how to keep herself away from the ones who were after her. Mikkei became capable of holding her ground, even killing a few people in the process.
Once her job was completed, she was twenty years old. The government of her home country began to crumble until anarchy struck it. But unfortunately, Mekkei was elsewhere and had no idea what had happened. Messages stopped coming and she was left alone, blissfully ignorant about the state her home was put under. For a time she was lost, and didn't know where to go.
